Beta Testing Using TestFlight

How to download BassBucks Private Beta

Updated over a month ago

To install and use an app for beta testing through TestFlight, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Install TestFlight:

  • Download and install the TestFlight app on the iOS or iPadOS device you'll be using for testing.

  • You can find it on the App Store or use a direct link provided in the beta testing invitation.

2. Accept the Invitation:

  • Open the email invitation you received from the app's developer on your testing device.

  • Tap the "View in TestFlight" button or the provided public link.

  • TestFlight will open, and if you're a new tester for the app, you'll be prompted to accept the invitation.

  • Tap "Accept" to join the beta testing program.

3. Install the Beta App:

  • After accepting the invitation, you will see the app listed in TestFlight.

  • Tap on the app's name to view its details.

  • Tap the "Install" button to download the beta app to your device.

4. Start Testing and Provide Feedback:

  • Once the installation is complete, you can open and test the app just like any other app.

  • Provide feedback to the developer directly through TestFlight by tapping "Send Beta Feedback" within the app's page.

  • You can include screenshots and detailed comments to help the developer identify and fix issues.

Important Notes:

  • This is only for approved Beta Testers.

  • Each beta build is available for testing for up to 90 days from the date the developer uploaded it.

  • TestFlight will notify you when new builds are available, and you can choose to enable automatic updates.

  • When the testing period ends, you'll no longer be able to open the beta build.

  • In-app purchases made during beta testing are free but won't carry over to the App Store version.
