How to Play BassBucks (Step-by-Step)

This guide walks you from downloading the app to joining contests, tracking results, and getting paid.

1) Download the App

  1. Open the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

  2. Search “BassBucks – Daily Fantasy Fishing.”

  3. Tap Get/Install and open the app.

2) Create Your Account & Onboarding

  1. Tap Create Account and follow the on-screen prompts.

  2. Complete the onboarding flow to set basic preferences.

  3. Age requirement: All players must be 18 or 21 years of age, depending on local regulations. The app will enforce eligibility during verification.

3) Identity Check (KYC) & Location

Why this is required: KYC and location verification are required by law and platform compliance.

  1. Begin the KYC flow when prompted.

    • Provide accurate personal information so we can verify your identity.

    • You may be asked to upload a government-issued ID.

  2. Enable Location Services on your device:

    • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > BassBucks > Allow While Using App

    • Android: Settings > Location > App permissions > BassBucks > Allow

  3. You must be physically located in a region where Daily Fantasy Sports are legal to play.

4) Add Funds

Note: Funds deposited must be played at least once before withdrawal.

  1. Go to Account → Add Funds.

  2. Choose a payment method: Credit/Debit Card or Bank Connection.

  3. Enter your details and confirm the deposit.

  4. Daily deposit limit: $1,000/day (unless otherwise restricted by your state).

  5. Withdrawals

    • Withdrawals $1,000+ are subject to manual review.

    • Funds typically arrive within 7–10 business days, unless a compliance hold is necessary.

5) Join a Contest

You can start from Home or from the Tournaments tab.

From Tournaments

  1. Select a Tournament.

  2. Choose a Contest within that tournament.

  3. Review Game Details (entry fee, payout, rules).

  4. Build your Lineup: add anglers while staying within the Salary Cap.

  5. Review your lineup and tap Enter.

    • Entry fee is debited immediately from your BassBucks balance.

    • All entries are final.

    • You may modify your roster up until the contest start time. After start, your lineup locks.

From Home

  1. Select a featured Contest.

  2. Follow the same steps to review details, build your lineup, and enter.

6) Track Live Results & Standings

  1. Go to Activity to see your current contests.

  2. View daily stats for anglers, your roster performance, and contest standings.

  3. Check back during the event for updates.

7) Contest Completion & Payouts

  1. After the event ends, results are validated.

  2. Winners are notified in-app.

  3. Winnings are credited to your BassBucks balance immediately after verification.

  4. You can use funds to enter more contests or request a withdrawal (see Section 4 for timing and review rules).

8) Play Another Contest

Head back to Home or Tournaments to enter more contests. Keep an eye on featured events.

9) Explore the Tackle Box

Browse gear the pros use via the Tackle Box section. (Some items may link out to partner or affiliate sites.)
